It’s 2003 and mum has dragged us along to the local IGA to do the mid-week grocery shopping. It’s been a long day at school and tbh, you can’t give two fucks about whether you’re getting green or red apples. You’re bored out of your brains until… you spot the Burger Man.
Decades after the ‘saucee’ treats were abruptly and rudely discontinued, news has spread about their return. From February 28th, these nostalgic, lunchbox treats will be available at Woolies and will cost you $3 dollary-doos for a 110g ‘party pack.’ But let’s be real, no one is sharing this pack at a party. If you don’t believe us, the link has already been loaded to the supermarket’s online store.
The Marketing & Innovation Director Oceania for Snacks Brands Australia, Mark Fryday (c’monnnn) said in a statement:
“We have been thrilled to see the excitement and anticipation by Australian fans over the last week about Burger Man returning.”
First Dixie Drumsticks, then Tasty Toobs, now Burger Man… what’s next? Tiny Teddy dippers? Bertie Beetles?
