The show is built around a genuinely interesting idea: unpacking the meticulous process and instinctive decision making that sits behind both Carson's design work and how The Macallan actually makes its whisky. There are guided tastings and a whisky masterclass running alongside the installations, so this is not a look but do not touch situation.

A drinks brand pairing itself with a design icon known for chaotic, layered, deliberately imperfect work is an odd match on paper.
