If you wanted to confirm a relationship without technically confirming anything, this is exactly how you'd do it.

Benson Boone dropped the music video for "The Time of My Life" on June 25, and it features Alix Earle as his co-star and love interest. Across the video's runtime, the pair go from backstage banter to rowing in a boat, sword fighting in a tavern, battling a dragon and, in the closing scene, a wedding and a kiss. It's not subtle.

Earle is one of the most-followed creators in the world, with an audience built across years of authentic, quick-turn TikTok content that turned her personal life into a genuinely compelling ongoing narrative. Boone is one of pop music's biggest breakout acts of the last two years. The crossover between their audiences is significant, and the video landed on social media with exactly the response you'd expect.

Neither has confirmed they're actually together. Sources described their chemistry on set as "undeniable." TMZ photographed them at dinner in Los Angeles after filming wrapped. The video ends with them kissing at a fictional wedding. And still, officially, there is no announcement.

This is a deliberate move. Confirming a celebrity relationship changes the dynamic with both audiences. Letting a music video do the hinting while preserving deniability keeps both fan communities engaged without locking either party into a public narrative. It's also extremely good for streams.

For content teams watching this play out, the lesson is the same one Earle has always been good at: context and implication carry more weight than a direct statement. The internet doesn't need you to say it. It will decide what it thinks regardless, and engagement follows from that.

Whether or not they're together, the rollout has been close to perfect. The video is performing well, the conversation is running across every platform and both of their audiences are paying close attention.
