The evidence has stacked up fast. A permit for street closures around Madison Square Garden from July 2 to July 4 was traced back to an event planning company, and a city official confirmed to the New York Times that the permit is for a wedding. Kansas City Chiefs players have booked a nearby hotel for that weekend. Stevie Nicks and Tim McGraw are confirmed as performers, with Paul McCartney's name floated as a possible addition. The guest list runs between 1,100 and 1,200 people.

The invitations have been circulating in screenshots despite some impressive security measures. Every invite is individually watermarked with each guest's full name repeated throughout, so anyone who leaks one online is immediately identifiable. That didn't stop people trying.

What the invitations don't mention is the venue. Guests received "New York City, July 3" and nothing else. The MSG detail has been pieced together entirely through permit hunting, hotel records and the kind of coordinated online investigation that Swifties have genuinely got very good at.

The actual wedding structure, based on current reporting: an intimate gathering of around 100 guests on July 2, followed by the main celebration of up to 1,000 guests on July 3.

Swift and Kelce have been together since mid-2023.
