Kylie Jenner just gave a six year house tour, and it's peak main character energy

Kylie Jenner has been sitting on the world's most expensive secret for six years, and on Sunday she finally cracked.

The 29 year old posted a YouTube vlog called "building my dream house", walking her 12.1 million subscribers through the still unfinished Hidden Hills mansion she has been quietly building since buying the empty five acre lot for $15 million back in 2020. Her reasoning for finally showing us round: it is already all over the internet anyway, so she may as well control the narrative.

Fair enough. When you are a Jenner, privacy is basically a rumour.

The house itself is full Italian countryside fantasy. Think reclaimed cobblestone driveway, reclaimed wood floors, and carefully chosen plaster tones that Kylie talks through like she is picking a foundation shade. There is an old fireplace destined for the entrance, framed in reclaimed brick, plus a second fireplace, a basement gym, a spa area and guest bathrooms with the kind of stonework and vintage tiles that make renovation TikTok lose its mind.

Outside, she has lavender bushes, a planned rose garden purely so she can "be a princess", and a sports court laid in gravel. There is a pizza oven and fountain set up under two large olive trees, which is where the story gets genuinely sweet. Those trees were not bought. Kylie rescued them from Kendall's place after her sister ripped them out during her own renovation and asked if anyone wanted them. Kylie said yes immediately, because apparently even billionaire landscaping can be sentimental.

By the end of the tour Kylie sums up six years of approvals, plaster samples and construction delays in one very relatable line: "I've been working on this for so long, and I'm just ready for it to be done. And to move in."

Honestly, same, Kylie. Same.

It is the most main character thing she could have done: turn a leak into content, turn a construction site into a personality trait, and somehow make a $15 million property saga feel like a mate texting you renovation updates. Say what you want about the Kardashian Jenner machine, but nobody sells a fireplace like Kylie Jenner.

Go watch the full tour before your group chat spoils every room for you.
